We believe in the power of dance to connect us.
Dance Base has been building, connecting and nurturing communities through dance for nearly 30 years. As well as our programme of public dance classes and our support for professional artists, Dance Base also develops and runs specific projects that help to connect more people to dance.
Our projects place dance at the heart, creating opportunities for people to dance, to move and to be creative. We work in collaboration with communities, artists and partners to develop projects that make dance more accessible and inclusive – projects that bring people together to dance and to connect.

Performance Companies
Dance Base’s youth and elder performance companies are based at Dance Base and perform in Edinburgh and across Scotland each year.
Dance for Health and Wellbeing
