Infinity is a physical deep-dive into repetition, cycles, and transformation through movement. What began as an exploration of the concept of Infinity has evolved into a wider enquiry into the loops we go through, those patterns that keep circling back, sometimes just when we think we’ve moved on.
I’m exploring how repeating and gradually transforming Hip-Hop foundations moves and simple patterns can create a sense of expansion rather than sameness. Through accumulation, interruption, shifts, and subtle changes, the movement continuously loops, evolves, returns, and starts again.
I’m interested in the cycles of everyday life — routines, relationships, work — and how they can sometimes feel like growth, while at other times feel daunting. During this residency, I’d like to explore when repetition becomes immersive and hypnotic, and how it can shift from something we observe to something we experience together. I want the audience to feel inside the loop with me, moving between rhythm, comfort, discomfort, emotion, and expansion.
Infinity was initially developed for Artist Voice 2025, with original support from Project X Dance.

About the Artist
I am a French-Cameroonian dancer and producer who has been part of the dance community in Scotland for the past ten years. I started dancing with Yasmin Doak company in Glasgow and then went onto training Hip-Hop and African diasporic dance styles with THREE60 Street dance company, where I received close mentorship from Divine Tasinda.
My practice is increasingly driven by the themes, questions and feelings that move me personally. I am interested in bringing to the stage the thoughts and emotions that stay with me, unsettle me, or ask to be explored. Through movement, I try to give these inner experiences a physical form, allowing myself to investigate what I may not yet understand or know how to articulate.
I create from a need to stay connected to myself — to keep questioning, feeling and discovering, and to find meaning in experiences that can otherwise remain difficult to express. Through an offering of ideas and movement, I aim to create an honest connection with people around me and explore how personal experiences can become shared through dance.
