Where can you dance to Backstreet Boys one week and Enya the next? Where can you get your cardio by dancing to Blondie or the Baywatch Theme? Retro Dance Party that's where!
Join us for a mixture of freestyle, choreography and (not so) guilty pleasures, let’s boost those endorphins and Get This Party Started. No prior dance experience necessary.
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. Don’t forget to bring your bottle of water!
Meet the Teachers
Chris Stuart-Wilson
In addition to teaching classes for a wide range of ages and abilities, his portfolio career also includes directing and choreography for professional (musical) theatre, facilitating dance for vulnerable people with his work for people living with dementia, receiving global recognition in 2017/18.
Chris writes and performs his own material, including the internationally acclaimed, Jesus L’Oreal. He has been teaching for Dance Base for 16 years and his focus is very much on style, fitness and theatricality.
How to prepare
Wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Don’t forget your bottle of water!
As we move into the colder months of our changeable Scottish weather, please wear layers to the class to keep sufficiently warm during, as we are still continuing to ensure ventilation in our studios.
