Teacher: Andrew Raeburn

Invented by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century, Pilates is a low-impact exercise focused on strengthening core muscles, improving posture, flexibility, and overall body alignment. It combines controlled movements with mindful breathing to enhance physical awareness and stability.

In this All Levels class, we will learn and then build on the fundamentals of Pilates. We will build strength and coordination, as well as developing posture and control.

Open to everyone, this class is great for beginners, those recovering from injuries, those coming back to movement after a break as well as anyone looking to keep on top of technique and form.

These classes are also well placed to complement participation in our public and professional programme for those looking for additional training. Perfect for dancers and Pilates enthusiasts alike.

Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring layers as it can get cooler in our studios during the winter months. If you have your own mat then please bring it along with you or we have some in the studio for you to borrow.
