Teacher: Tony Mills

Emerging in 1970s New York, Hip Hop is defined by foundational moves such as bounces, rocking, isolations, steps, kicks and gestures, combined to form different Hip Hop grooves (e.g. Biz Markie, Cabbage Patch, The Prep and Harlem Shake).

Hip Hop Pop and Lock with Dance Base's very own Artistic Director Tony Mills (AKA Tony Thrills)!

This All Levels class is a mixture of 70s funk styles, 80s boogaloo and 90s Hip Hop grooves, delivered with a new skool vibe.

You will learn the foundations of these dance styles, each week focusing on a different element, and then get the chance to bring them all together in a funky fresh sequence at the end of class. Drop in, sign up and get down!

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers. Don’t forget to bring your bottle of water!
