About the Class

Fridays 26 Apr – 31 May (6 week course) 11:30-13:00  

Are you interested in the different types of dance movement? Come and join our Friday morning sessions, ‘Dance Makers’, where we explore and discuss the works of a variety of choreographers, past, present and future (with thanks to Dance Base’s residency programme which provides a space for professional dance artists to share new work and practice with peers, audiences and the dance community.)

No previous knowledge required. All welcome.

Meet the Teachers

Agnes Ness

Agnes trained in dance in Edinburgh and Glasgow and has worked in theatre and educational television.

She did an MA Degree in French and History of Art at Edinburgh University and taught there in the History of Art Department and the OLL for many years.

Agnes' interests are travel, reading and of course dance and she is a member of Dance Base's Golden class. She has also been presenting classes on Dance Makers at Dance Base since 2010.
