Movement and exercise classes for people living with Parkinson’s, their carers and families. These classes are led by trained dance artists and accompanied by live music. They are open to all, and no previous experience is required. Exercises—which are all adaptable to individual needs—are designed to support flexibility, gait and balance and to encourage fluid movement. The classes also include some voice exercises/singing and finish with socialising, where you can enjoy tea and a chat.
If you have not attended a Dance for Parkinson's class at Dance Base before, please contact engagement@dancebase.co.uk before booking a place in the class.
