The concept of Contact Improv Lab is to create an open space where people can come together and explore what contact improvisation is.
This is an unstructured session, with no teacher or facilitator. We share ideas, we try out new things, or sometimes we just dance. These sessions are suited to those with some prior experience of contact improvisation or contemporary dance practice.

Meet the Teachers
Contact Improvisation Edinburgh
Contact Improvisation Edinburgh is an open collective of volunteers who have been organising CI jams, classes and labs for more than a decade. Coming from different walks of life they get together to dance, roll, lift, lean and fly. The group comprises of amateur and professional dancers, people of different ages and nationalities who love Contact Improv and are passionate about sharing it with others.
