Announcing our new Head of Professional Programme

We’re absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of Marlous Lang-Peterse as Head of Professional Programme, succeeding Kirsty Somerville who is now managing Arts Services for East Lothian Council.

Marlous (she/her) has worked in the arts for over 10 years, looking after large scale touring theatre for Great Leap Forward and General Managing the Edinburgh Mela, as well as producing for independent artists and local arts organisations. She brings both a breadth and depth of producing experience and experience in leadership roles.

She’ll join us on 1 August, and in her first month will be supporting the Dance Base Festival in partnership with Assembly, as well as planning for the implementation of our autumn programme of professional artist support. You can reach her on marlous.lang-peterse@dancebase.co.uk
