A Glimpse of Flesh and Blood
Rob Heaslip Dance
A Glimpse of Flesh and Blood is where dance, vocals, music, design and a mound of confetti reinterpret folk theatre to tell tales of rituals of birth and death in Gaelic Culture.
Rob Heaslip gives us a collision of popular and folk culture to create a tale of collective-memory and consciousness.
The performers are a collection of ever-shifting biographies gathered in a small space. They are a Composer, a Dramaturg, a Designer, Dancers, and Vocalists working to re-invent time honoured traditions.
