Jo Jeffries/ Christina Liddell
Jo was born in Edinburgh. She has a BA Hons in Performing Arts from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She has performed for choreographers including Ian Spink, Philip Van Huffel and Angus Balbernie, and opera companies including Scottish Opera, Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Geneva Opera House, Welsh National Opera and San Francisco Opera. Jo also plays the fiddle and incorporates live music into her dance work with children and families.
Christina Liddell is a professional dance artist based in Edinburgh, having qualified with a First Class BA Honours from Performing Arts Studio Scotland in 2012.
Shortly after graduating, she was granted the DEBS bursary by Dance Base, under the mentorship of Alan Greig. Christina featured in works by Jenni Wren, Aaron Jeffrey, Emma Park and Clare Hughes. She has also worked alongside a number of choreographers within artistic collaboration projects.
Christina continues to pursue her professional career, having worked closely with renowned choreographers Ian Spink, Errol White and Laura Jones (StopGap Dance Company) within their professional development programmes.
Christina performs extensively across Scotland, alongside teaching community groups with additional support needs. She takes great joy in passing on her love for dance with others.
