Residency 30 November – 4 December
Chrissie Ardill, Brigid McCarthy, Saffy Setohy, Lucy Boyes and Julia McGhee
Inspired by a task to explore ‘falling’ during a Fast+Dirty artists residency in Evanton last year with Plan B and AirField, Chrissie Ardill, Lucy Boyes and Saffy Setohy worked on the mixed concepts of falling and scale; how much of a person can fall on its own and what it is to fall.
Simultaneously Julia McGhee and Brigid McCarthy were outdoors becoming interested in how we prepped for falling i.e. climbing. And exploring how we present it… on the ground/over obstacles/at night.
We plan to mix, mingle and juxtapose the two unrelated ideas and find what happens when they happen amongst and alongside one another.
