On and On and On and On and On
On and On and On and On and On began life as an artistic response to the Strasbourg Dancing Plague of 1518 where hundreds of people danced to the point of exhaustion and death, seemingly unable to stop. During earlier developments the performance has expanded into something more questioning. Repetitive movement, exhaustion, torches, shiny sequins, black cloaks, tarpaulin, games of chance, and lots of red objects; it is a solo piece that wishes to play with and deceive its audience.
In this residency lead artist / performer Greg Sinclair will collaborate with dramaturg Peter McMaster, choreographer Hannah Venet and designer Mamoru Iriguchi to reimagine the development of the show for a safe and sustainable future.
On and On and On and On and On has previously been supported by Creative Scotland, Buzzcut, Tramway and Magnetic North.
