SPILT MILK
Estlin Love and Fiona Oliver-Larkin
SPILT MILK is a playful, edgy take on the problematic aspects of love and romance, as drawn up by two single mothers. Drawing on clowning, stand up, physical theatre and cabaret, Estlin Love and Fiona Oliver-Larkin, both Dancebase DEBS graduates, will explore the absurd standards we accept as status quo, aiming to expose and re-evaluate our attitudes towards gender relations and what normal is. What happens when we pan out from the desensitised ways in which we interact with one another? What happens when we stop normalising them?
Company Class | Tuesday 21 January | 10:00- 11:30
We will explore elements of Fiona and Estlin’s shared practice, including physical theatre, movement practice and clowning. The class will include some discussion around the themes of our residency, so please bring an extra layer for warmth as well as comfortable clothes to move in. The class is open to all levels.
Company Showing | Friday 24 January | 16:00
