Shotput will use this residency to take the first steps toward a new work that incorporates dance, writing, and cassette tapes.
While the content of the piece is part of the exploration, we are starting by using the relationship between siblings to examine metaphoric and found families, contested histories, and memory. During this residency week, Shotput will be joined by three performers of different disciplines and artists Rob Willoughby and Greg Sinclair.
