23 - 27 February
The King of the Birds is a playful, high-energy dance-theatre duet inspired by the folktale of The Eagle and The Wren. Through soaring lifts, quick-footed movement and moments of joyful audience interaction, two dancers bring a story of cleverness, power and unexpected triumph to life. Made as a pop-up performance for children and families, this work invites young audiences to move, imagine and take flight together in a variety of settings including outdoor spaces.
