12 - 23 January
Size Matters is a wildly inventive new show from Mamoru Iriguchi (Eaten, What You See When Your Eyes Are Closed / What You Don’t See When Your Eyes Are Open).
Blending puppetry, science, and surrealist theatre, Julia Darrouy, Mamoru Iriguchi and their puppet doubles explore how time and perception shift with size. If your heart beats slower, does time pass differently? What happens when puppeteers grow, but their puppets stay the same?
Playful, clever and visually surprising, Size Matters is a joyful, mind-bending journey through time, perspective and control.
In association with Manipulate Arts & Fidena. Supported by Creative Scotland’s Open Fund for Individuals, Tramway Residency Programme & Dance Base.
