Monday 17 - Friday 21 February
During this residency, we will begin a new piece of research taking themes of transformation and change as our starting point. We will explore aspects of our inner selves and our perceptions of the world around us through sound and movement and playing with the idea of taking ourselves apart, putting ourselves back together and, as a result, becoming different from the way we were before. We will use the studio as a playground for our imaginations with different areas of the room set up with opportunities for making sound, interacting with materials and moving, both in response to what we sense around us and following our own individual interests. We will be mapping our findings through writing and drawing, recorded conversations, audio recordings, photos and video.
