Danish dance company NEXT ZONE will be working on expanding the solo WAR from their existing piece 4 HORSEMEN. They will also create a short version of URBANE SAINTS as well as new material and original music for the new piece GREED which will premiere in November 2025.
NEXT ZONE specialises in creating pieces dealing with current themes and expanding choreographic language by working with dancers from different genres of street dance. For this residency they will be working specifically with an electro dancer and locking dancer.
Dance Base is delighted to continue to build our relationship with this Danish dance company. We welcomed them at the Fringe in 2024 with their show TRANSHUMANIST, and are pleased to be able to offer in-kind support for this week of development in residence with us.
