24 -28 November
(and also 2-6 February, 9-13 February, 2-16 March, 9-13 March)
In this residency, All or Nothing will work with newly formed aerial performance company, The Ensemble, to devise two new pieces of work.
Influenced by Avril Paton’s painting of a tenement block, ‘Windows in the West’, and stories such as Hitchcock’s Rear Window and Nan Goldin’s photography, Windows is an exploration into glimpses of other people’s lives — a new mid-scale piece for theatre settings.
The Flying Ceilidh is a new outdoor work in collaboration with Marie Williamson, bringing the joy, celebration and community of a ceilidh into the air!

About All or Nothing
All or Nothing are Scotland’s leading aerial dance company creating, performing, teaching and pioneering aerial arts in Scotland. Led by Artistic Director Jen Paterson, our work ranges from small-scale theatre to large-scale outdoor spectacle – hanging from boats, buildings and cranes, flying through forests, across lochs or dancing on iconic landmarks. All or Nothing combine aerial arts with dance theatre and contemporary circus, creating our own theatrical works for touring as well as developing aerial elements for events.
Participation is vital to the company’s work. We believe that aerial is for everyone and we develop all kinds of opportunities for this to happen, challenging assumptions of who aerial is for.
