Building on their 10 years of spearheading and nurturing the street dance and african diasporic dance community in Scotland, THREE60 founding members (Levent Nyembo, Divine Tasinda, Adam McMillan and Kemono Lebe Riot) are currently undergoing a period of Research & Development, reflecting on past projects and strengthening creative relationships between them.

THREE60 will use this residency to work on the redevelopment of ‘World’s Evolution’, a programme originated from 3 performance works: ‘Mother Earth’, ‘Motherland’ and ‘Journey to Motherland’ and presented during DIG22 festival.

About THREE60

THREE60 is one of the only dance groups that specialises in Street dance styles, African and caribbean-based styles in Scotland. THREE60 collective has been involved in the dance community in Scotland for a decade, teaching classes mainly in Glasgow and Edinburgh and creating and delivering indoors and outdoors performances (Scotland Fashion week, DIG22, Merchant city festival, Glasgow Green UEFA fan zone). THREE60 is one of very few street dance collectives in Scotland’s that has consistently built the community and nurtured the talent here and continues to provide training and opportunities for artists in Scotland using street dance and African diasporic dance as a medium to tell stories.
