Dylan will use this residency to explore and develop images and dynamics for a future solo show. Amongst other things, Hunkypunk is a playful investigation into questions of persona and self-portraiture; exploring how and why we “perform the Self”. Other possible titles: The Dylan Show / Je est un autre / Foxes Wedding / A gargoyle with no waterspout.

Dylan will present an open laboratory of physical clowning techniques and games, with an emphasis on pleasure-in-performance, and on humorous self-reflection. Dancers, performers and non-performers welcome. No previous experience of clowning necessary.
