SALTYDOLLS – BEANS, WALLS, BABES
IS ANYBODY THERE, BABE? I’M GOING OUT OF MY MIND OVER HERE!
Two women sit alone, seemingly together but separated by a division. Cans lay strewn across the floor. BEANS, WALLS, BABES is a simple piece about isolation, connection and the power of knocking on walls.
Devised, designed and performed by SALTYDOLLS with music by Tom Parkinson
SALTYDOLLS are Estlin Love and Fiona Oliver-Larkin
SALTYDOLLS is a new Edinburgh-based theatre company, born out of the galvanising creative partnership of theatre makers and single mothers Estlin Love and Fiona Oliver-Larkin. Their work focuses on the voices of women, single mothers and the creation of explicitly feminist theatre. With practices as diverse as puppetry, stand up comedy, object manipulation, clown and Greek Tragic text, they make work that is riotous, irreverent, glamorous and tender, work that aims to shake up. https://www.facebook.com/SALTYDOLLSTHEATRE/
