Artist Partner Program Creation Residencies at The Clarice

Deadline: Mon 30 Jan 2017

The Artist Partner Program at The Clarice in Maryland curates a multi-arts performance series with regional, national and international artists and creative innovators.

Creation Residencies at The Clarice give artists venue time and production resources to develop new work in a collaborative and teaching relationship with University of Maryland students.

As part of a major public research university, the Artist Partner Program is committed to the creation and investigation of new work and new ways of participating in the performing arts.

Projects are chosen based on the following:

  • Subject matter connected to contemporary social issues relevant to Clarice audiences or the larger world.

  • Interest and relevance to the learning goals of University of Maryland students.

Call for proposals are currently open until 30 Jan to take place in Jul / Aug 2017 and Jan 2018.

Resources, travel costs and financial support are supported, with more information about the residency, programme and how to apply can be found on the organisation’s website.
