We can offer a credit for a drop-in class if more than 2 hours' notice is given. This applies to drop-in classes bought as a single class, or drop-in classes booked as part of a 10-class pass.
All courses are non-refundable, but credit will be issued if you notify us in the first two weeks of term (up to and including Monday 27 September 2021) that you need to cancel your course. If there is space available, you may be able to transfer your booking to another course of your choice during the same term (additional payments applicable where there is a difference in price).
Refunds will only be issued in the unlikely event of cancellation of a class or workshop by Dance Base. Dance Base reserves the right to replace the advertised teacher and/or musician for any class at any point before the start of the class; this will not be considered grounds for any refunds to be issued.
If you are unable to attend a class you have booked into for any reason, a refund will not be issued. This includes if you become ill or are required to self-isolate due to Covid protocols. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your class, as latecomers may not be admitted. Refunds cannot be issued for missed class(es) due to lateness.
If Dance Base is required to cancel class(es) we will inform everyone booked onto the class(es) as soon as possible. In the case where Dance Base has had to cancel class(es) for reasons related to Covid restrictions (e.g. due to government-mandated restrictions on public life, or because we are not able to operate due to staff/teachers needing to self-isolate) customers will be issued refunds/part-refunds for the cancelled classes only. Please note, all refunds on courses will be processed at the end of the term (i.e. after 11 December).
Dance Base will not be liable in any way if a performance, class or workshop is abandoned after more than half of it has taken place due to any factors which are beyond our reasonable control. Without limiting the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as causes beyond our reasonable control: (i) Acts of God, which include earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost; (ii) Force Majeure which includes war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes and civil commotions; (iii) Power failure and failure of internet connection, sound, video or lighting equipment.
