Dance Base and the City of Edinburgh Council’s Culture and Wellbeing Service (Diversity Programme) invite Edinburgh-based dance artists and practitioners of ethnically diverse backgrounds to use high-quality, accessible dance studios and facilities as part of the pilot ‘Sunday Sessions’ project. Dance artists and practitioners are offered FREE access to host rehearsals and non-commercial community engagement activities on selected Sundays beginning 9 October 2022.
The sessions offer 3.5 hour long slots (10:00-13:30 and 13:30-17:00) which can be booked online. Access to the spaces is provided free of charge but requires advance booking. You can book as many slots as required on a given date. The spaces are made available on a first come, first served basis, so do book it in advance if planning rehearsals/activities/events.
For more information about Studio 3 can be found at here.
Booking can be made on Eventbrite.
Please contact Dance Base at 0131 225 5525 or email dance@dancebase.co.uk with any questions regarding booking arrangements.
Please note that the space is not meant to be used for commercial purposes, hence no paid for activities are to be offered or delivered as part of the arrangement for ethnically diverse artists/creatives and communities.
