Free Period Products
Dance Base, with the support of Edinburgh City Council and Hey Girls, are proud to be able to offer free period products to all our visitors and staff in our toilets and changing room facilities throughout the building.
In 2020, Scotland became the first country in the world to enshrine in law the right to access free period products to anyone who needs them with The Period Product (Free Provision) Scotland Act. As a result, free period products are available for people to collect in several venues across the city.
If you have visited us recently, you will have seen these in place in all our toilets and changing rooms, including our accessible toilets. Within our changing rooms, they can be found close to the lockers.
If you need some period products, please take what you need, when you need them!
