Out of Class
Thursday 15 August 15.00-18.00 & Friday 23 August 18.45-21.45 | £10

Not a class, not a workshop, not a performance. Out of Class is an open space for improvisation. These sessions are facilitated by Christine Devaney (Artistic Director of Curious Seed, www.curious-seed.co.uk ) and musician, Luke Sutherland. Live music will evolve in response to what happens in the space. The first 2 hours will involve warm up to bring people together in listening and responding with awareness and playfulness, leading into guided improvisations in movement, drawing and writing. This will build towards a score to share and follow for the last hour. The last hour will also be an open studio, for others to come in to witness, observe and listen. Open to those interested in improvising: dancers, visual artists, writers. Some drawing materials will be provided. If you bring your own, please make sure they are dry.
