Keep Dancing: Festival Classes 2018

Keep fit and dancing during the summer and join our Festival 18 drop-in classes in August!

Classes will be on Tuesday to Sunday every week and you can drop in on any of those days.

Our 9am classes are open to all levels or to those with some experience. Please check the class pages.

Ballet and Contemporary are open to professional level dancers. You can book in person or by phoning reception on 0131 225 5525 on the day or up to one day in advance of each class. Please note you are not able to pay for Festival Classes with your Dance Base Points or credit.

Not a class, not a workshop, not a performance. Out of Class is an open space for improvisation. These sessions are facilitated by Christine Devaney (Artistic Director of Curious Seed, and musician, Luke Sutherland.

Body Percussion Workshop with Ryan C Birch and Dre Torres

Old Kent Road is excited to offer a body percussion workshop that will explore the rhythmic dynamics your body can soundly make. Creating music through movement in an energetic atmosphere will challenge your mind, body and soul and ignite a passion for rhythm you never knew existed. This workshop is brought to you by Dre Torres and Ryan Campbell Birch who are performing a body percussion duet in the new show OSCiLLATE.
