It has been said that creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties. Unknown explores the theme of uncertainty and the inescapable part that taking a risk and accepting the possibility of failure has in life.

Eve Mutso is a former Scottish Ballet principal dancer. Unknown is her third work presented at Dance Base and was originally commissioned by Tramway, Glasgow.

Everybody has a story to tell. Liminal is that of a classical woman trying to find her way in a modern world. Through the darkness she chases the light. On the threshold, charged with emotion, how does she adapt to her surroundings? Her quest creates a universe where fragments make sense and sense is fragmented. Classical undertones meet minimal electronic beats.

Liadain Herriott was awarded Best Performer at Dublin Fringe Festival 2015.
