Hari Ho Gati Meri – let my salvation be in the supreme. Acclaimed classical Indian Kathak dancer Gauri Diwakar performs two interweaving dances that revolve around the eternal resonance of Krishna’s flute. Is the melody emerging out of his flute a message beckoning to eternal life or the fount of ever-increasing knowledge? The flute is heard again in the loving union of Radha and Krishna, each the shadow of one another.

Resonance revolves around the eternal resonance of Krishna’s flute. Is the melody emerging from the flute a message beckoning to eternal life or a fountain of knowledge?

In Shadows of each other, the union of Radha and Krishna forms the central point. ‘I am immersed in you, like a drop of water that dissolves in the ocean.’

A Kathak dancer par excellence and Ustad Bishmilla Khan Award-winner, Diwakar’s command over the art has won her many admirers across the globe. Her graceful movements, striking facial expressions and powerful stage presence will leave you spellbound.
