Fundraising for Glimpsing Air pockets – A dance production for children in hospital

fundraising Christina

Glimpsing Air Pockets is an immersive, multi-sensory dance theatre production; a creative expression of how working alongside many inspiring children at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh has profoundly transformed the perspective of Dance Base dance teacher and artist, Christina Liddell.

The work brings the outdoors and the beauty of nature indoors to the audience, encapturing the children's personal contributions who are in care within the hospital; including the set, musical elements, film and live performance.

The vision is that many children will be inspired by their contributions being reflected back to them within the final performance.

Glimpsing Air Pockets will be performed at the new children's hospital, Little France, due to open in 2018 and will then reach out to other children’s hospitals, hospices and venues across Scotland.

Christina Liddell is fundraising to enable Glimpsing Air Pockets to be a magical experience for these deserving children.

All donations will make an incredible difference!
