A celebration of the life and legacy of Elaine McDonald OBE : 2 May 1943 - 8 December 2018

Scotland's first ballerina, Elaine was with the Artistic Director Peter Darrell at the formation of Scottish Ballet exactly 50 years ago. Together they laid the foundations for the future of dance in Scotland.

Join us in song, dance and prayer in the breathtaking setting of Glasgow Cathedral as we celebrate the life of  a remarkable lady, one of the most influential dancers of her generation.
