About the Class

Professional Level Contemporary with Penny Chivas
Mondays 5 -26 February | 12:45 - 14:15
Each week Dance Base offer classes for the professional dance community with a fee of £5 per class. Our classes are taught by a range of artists who are actively working in Scotland so that they can share their technique and approach with the professional sector.

Moving between set material and specific improvisational scores, we'll warm up to move on to dance together. Penny will draw upon her long standing background of somatic, improvisational and contact improvisational practices to travel, to move in connection with the floor and to move with ease and fluidity.

Please note that this is a professional level technique class and it is therefore for those who are practicing and/or working at a professional level.

If you are a member of the public and would like to attend our public classes please check out our full list of classes here, we have classes of all levels including intermediate and advanced and we would love to welcome you along!
