Tai Chi is mainly based on the slowness, fullness, and tenderness of ones’ movement, including one’s internal power, “chi” and “jin”. The techniques taught in this class is a combination of Tai Chi, Modern Dance, and Contemporary Dance. It is a series of movements that surrounds the concept of “chi”. Passing internal power to different body joints by doing spine twists, Using different forces in order to generate power, thus connected with floor and jumping moves. We will be focusing on reaching the balance of yin/yang, guiding with one’s internal strength, and evoking more possibilities of one’s body.
