Inclusive Dance at Dance Base

Our inclusive classes are specifically designed for disabled and non-disabled dancers. This means that all levels of experience and movement ranges are welcome in the class. The movements and exercises are designed so that everyone can take part and contribute equally in the class; sometimes this means that different options for exercises will be provided to suit individual needs. The teachers will support dancers in the class to participate, have fun and develop their own dance skills.

Carers, support workers or friends/family are invited to take part in these classes too. There is no charge for a carer/support worker or for a friend or family member to take part in the class. Please note, carers/support workers must sign in at reception when attending a class.

Please get in touch with us if you’d like to find out more about these classes. We are happy to discuss an individual class or hear about how we can support specific access needs.

For specific information about accessing the Dance Base building, please see our Facilities and Access to our building webpage.
