11 - 15 October
With Catastrophic Consequences is a collaborative performance between dancer and musician which explores the joy of live music and dance. Through a carefully crafted structure the work celebrates playfulness and embraces the spontaneity that live collaboration can offer. Using conversational text, and guided by the expertise of dramaturg Ramon Ayres, the performers connect and relate to each other and the audience during the performance to allow the audience to be a part of the collaborative process. The work champions joy, hope and connection, explored through the lens of the fluctuating and nuanced relationship between not only music and dance, but musician, dancer, and audience.

With Catastrophic Consequences is in it’s first week of residency after a year of Covid setbacks. We would love to invite members of the Scottish dance community to share Company Class with us, and to watch and take part in a sharing at the end of the week, but please know we will be starting back gently and the work will very much be in the research stage of the process.
