We believe that dance is for everyone; from babies to seniors and people of all abilities. If you or someone you know has access requirements we will do everything we can to help. This guide tells you about some of the facilities we currently offer. If there’s something you need that isn’t here, just ask.
Whilst we aim to make every class accessible for everyone people with additional support needs can find classes especially for them too.
We aim to make Dance Base as accessible as possible. The venue has a lift or level access to all areas of the building.
Accessible toilets and changing facilities can be found opposite reception and next to the main changing rooms at the rear of the building.
Fixed induction loops are provided at the reception counter and in studio two, three and four. A portable induction loop is available for use in other areas of the building. It can be borrowed from reception.
A fully accessible family play area is situated at the rear of the building.
Large print brochures can be found in the reception area. A PDF version of our latest brochure can be found on our homepage.
To get information or to book into any activity you can contact us in person, by phone, e-mail, Type Talk or via dancebase.co.uk. If you’d prefer to book an appointment, please ask.
To help you join any activity we can provide additional services such as:
- meet your teacher in advance of the class
- have a guided tour of the facilities
Classes designed specially for adults with additional support needs can be found in the brochure.
