Residency 22 – 26 February

when in roam

Orphaned Limbs Collective

This residency entails research and development for a new piece of work by Orphaned Limbs Collective, titled when in roam. This new project interweaves movement, aerial dance, physical theatre, original musical composition and video projection to tell stories about displacement, belonging, and the endless search for the ever-elusive home base. It relates stories of relocation and the impact of living as a roaming being, trying to make a home in unfamiliar countries, and the gain and cost of travel, such as navigating relationships to loved ones through digital communication.
