Residency 23 May – 3 June

Lewis Normand

Pluvia (working title)

Following on from Lewis’ last residency, where Pluvia (working title) was born, Lewis and dancers will continue exploring and refining ideas inspired by Scottish landscape and weather. Looking at cloud formations and the water cycle we aim to make dance that is richly textured and atmospheric. Will use various images and poetry alongside a specially commissioned score by Composer Fraya Thomsen.

Lewis will be opening up company class each day for the two weeks of his residency. Style and teacher will vary each day and spaces are offered on a first come first serve basis, to professionals only. If you are interested in attending and wish to confirm a space please send a short expression of interest to lewisnormand@hotmail.co.uk .
