Residency 5 - 9 December
Co-Artistic Directors Jessica and Megan Kennedy of Junk Ensemble will undertake their research and development process for Junk's new work 'Soldier Still', to premiere in Spring 2017. Focusing on the idea of violence and vulnerability and the question 'What leads us to a violent event?', we will collate stories, text and interviews from former and current soldiers of the Irish Defence Forces, which will be layered within the live performance and short dance film. The performers will be both dancers and former soldiers although during the residency Megan and Jessica Kennedy will be researching in the studio alone.
