Chris Malone

Chris started dancing competitively, aged 7, in Old Time, Ballroom and Latin American. At 18 he became a professional trainer, based in Liverpool, managing Crown Dance Studios for 14 years. During this time Chris traveled extensively through Europe training many high class, successful amateur dancers both at home and abroad. He has also adjudicated at International competitions. Having had superb results with many champion dancers Chris now based in Edinburgh where he continues to teach from beginners levels to the higher competitive levels.
 

Dawn-Claire has been dancing ballroom and Latin since she was 4. Her training began in Edinburgh but by the age of 9 she was commuting down to England for competitive training. She feels privileged to have been trained by some of the most prolific dancers in the world like Donnie Burns and Marcus and Karen Hilton. She has represented her country in worldwide competitions gaining a variety of titles, most notably British, International and World Championships and was presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Scottish Dancesport Association. In 1993 she gave up competitive dance and continued to teach whilst studying at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she attained a BA Dramatic Arts. On leaving she moved to Boston, USA teaching at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios and at Harvard University for the Ballroom team.
