What are the needs of black choreographers in the UK?  What does the sector aspire to achieve in the 21st century? And what do we need to put into place now to make it happen?

These are just a few of the questions this research will aim to answer.

Take the Space has been commissioned by State of Emergency to map and analyse the needs of black* choreographers in the 21st century. This research will enable us to gather important data to inform further policy and practice.
