James' Chat 20 Tue 20 Apr PDF Print E-mail

James Allenby | Marketing ManagerGood day to you,

The summer term has gotten off to a great start with lots of people enrolling for courses meaning the atmosphere in classes is great. If you haven't enrolled yet, or have and want more, there's still time: you can book in until this coming Saturday (24 Apr) and join courses in week three.

Dance Base's Artistic Director Morag Deyes went back to the studio last week to teach her new class Golden for dancers aged 60+. It certainly seems to have caught plenty of people's imaginations as we had a wonderful group of 21 people come along for the first class. It's not too late to join in either, you can drop-in (for free) for the next five weeks on Tuesdays at 15.30.

Coming up a week on Sunday (2 May) is an exciting workshop weekend. There's Hoop Dance with Sharna Rose for kids (11.00-12.00), adult beginners (12.30-13.30 n.b. sold out) and adult improvers/intermediate (14.00-16.00). Also on the day is a general level Sevillanas workshop with Linda Skakel; whilst ash clouds might prevent you from getting to Spain right now, you can get some Spanish flavour right here in the studio.

Have a great week,
