How we do it

how we do it - irish - Mar 2016

Dance Base is for everyone and age is no barrier. All classes are open to everyone aged 14+, unless otherwise specified. And, whether you want a buddy for your first class, have specific access needs, or just need a helping hand to guide you, we can help. Please tell your teacher about pregnancy, any health issues or medical conditions you might have.
Ask at reception for more information.

How we do it – we're flexible!

Courses
Know what you want? Book in advance for the full term and save money. Courses are open for booking in the first three weeks of term, then we close booking to allow the class to progress. If you're looking for something more flexible, see Drop-in. Once booking closes, the dates you'll see on the class page are those remaining for the term.

Drop-ins
Now sure what to try or need to be flexible? Drop-in is for you. Bookings open 24 hours in advance and capacity is limited.

CD / Course & Drop-in
Some classes are available as both course and drop-in. If you want to secure a place each week, pay for the term in advance. Otherwise, book from 24 hours before class.

Gentler classes
Look out for the G symbol in the brochure if you’re returning to dance after a long break or injury, or if you’d like a gentler session.

Get sweaty
Look out for this symbol if you want to sweat, get fit and fired up through dance.

Please arrive promptly for your class. When you arrive just come to reception and sign in with your dance card or your name. Latecomers will not be admitted to class more than 15 minutes after it is due to start. This is both for your safety and to prevent disruption to the class. All classes involve a warm up and cool down, both of which are essential to prevent injuries.
We do not allow spectators in our classes. If you require assistance with a class, please contact front-of-house staff and they will be able to advise you.
