Lauren Porter-Worth received early training with Balanchine principal Jillana in Southern California and attended Bolshoi at Vail, School of American Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Lauren graduated as a merit scholarship student from NCSA in 1996 and joined LINES Ballet in San Francisco, as their youngest member, becoming a principal in l998.  She was recognized with the Princess Grace Award in 1999 and has performed widely in the United States, throughout Europe and participated in residencies at White Oak and Jacob’s Pillow.  In addition to 9yrs with LINES, she has worked with Alvin Ailey, San Francisco Ballet, Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh Ballet and Aretha Franklin and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
