Julie Mitchell

Born in Edinburgh, Julie trained full-time at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and on graduation she moved to Portugal where she danced and taught professionally for eight years. She then took up an invitation to be Vice-Principal/Senior Dance Tutor in one of Hong Kong's top ballet schools. When the RAD invited her to become an examiner she returned home and set up the Edinburgh Dance Academy and the "Edinburgh Dance Company". Julie has been a guest teacher for several dance companies and travels the world examining teachers and students alike.
