Dougie Hudson

Dougie is an experienced music/dance performer and workshop leader. He works with local bands playing Salsa, African, Funk/Pop and Egyptian on percussion, guitar and voice. Dougie also works with outreach programmes in schools, community groups and businesses throughout Scotland. Born in Tanzania he spent his early years there while his parents worked. This experience of Africa set in motion a deep love and appreciation of the continent’s art and culture and the roles that music and dance played in defining the self and a nation’s identity. He brings a great high energy that inspires all to join in what he calls the ‘Equation Of Celebration’.
